This is a proposed protection, not a guarantee already supplied by every Ethereum wallet.
The development
The Ethereum Foundation’s Access Cluster outlined native transaction assertions on 5 October. The idea is to compare a transaction’s resulting state with agreed rules and revert its actions if those rules fail.
Proposal, not deployment
The post discusses EIP-7906 as one approach and says its inclusion in Hegotá is not confirmed. It also stresses that protective rules must come from a trustworthy source: a compromised interface could otherwise supply permissive rules.
What to watch
Wallet support, protocol decisions and independent evaluation will determine practical usefulness. CoinEditorial’s reading: clearer signing and outcome checks address related but different problems. The post does not establish that users can rely on this mechanism today.
